The howtodoit "readonly" forum provides answers and walkthroughs for all common questions.
Playing a bit more with phpbb3 and I am still left convinced that:
1) For 99% of what is done with a forum it offers no advantages.
2) On a straight comparison, we offer more features as we stand.
But where phpbb3 does win out a bit is that some of the features are more integrated in look and feel than our current portals. Which is of course hardly surprising, as phpbb3 was designed around the features our portals add on as components.
