I will check some of them out, but really "Customizeable Visual Confermation Setting" does not qualify. To get in the table it has to be a meaningful feature. Equally easier date function is very trivial.

Remember we could list all our different portals, but we won't as it would not be a sensible comparison.

arcade, portal and html pages are null and void as they are not implemented, they are addons even to phpbb3.
Jabba??? assuming it's live chat, then that's part of myfreefriends also.
topic icons would be nice, but may get abused and isn't really needed

Mods don't really count as at that rate any forum could have anything. It is what is there out of the box that matters.

What is there out of the box with phpbb3 is unlikely to grow at the rate we add features!

For example ecommerce and the cash mod is a big new feature added just this week.

Something new and significant gets added here every month or two and that will continue whatever the base forum platform. I really doubt the same will be true of baseline phpbb3.

But with phpbb3 as with phpbb2 adding mods is not the easiest of things to do. Hence the attraction of a forums system where someone else takes the coding responsibility of maintaining a forum and adding to it.

Most people are not qualified to do this, they may be able to get away with it, but a lot of people maintaining their own forums and adding their own mods end up with a dead forum.

As such the only legitimate basis for comparison is what we have against the baseline version of a forums system.
