Up until the last few days the forum adverts have reflected the content of the site but now we mostly see a big red advert for 'click now for a chance to win an Audi' which is much more irritating than the google ads and seems to be more spam than advert
Has the advertising policy of MYFF changed? _________________ overthegate.myfreeforum.org

This advert seems to be googles favourite at the moment, as it is absolutely everywhere, not just on this system.
Go on any site that has google ads and chances are this ad will be on there.
The policy has not changed as far as i,m aware. _________________

All we can do policy wise is to block certain ads, and we can only sensibly do that in extreme cases.
These prize ads seem to be on a roll at the moment and I agree they are a pain, but it is swings and roundabouts and google does a nice set of ads as a general rule. _________________

Hi,
Just letting you know that I have just paid for 12 months advert free by paypal order number 5DV90779XJ5011438.
I did put the forum name in with the order but here it is again just to double check.

Thanks

It was done pretty much as the order came in
If the forum name is there that does tend to happen
You'd be amazed how many emails I have had to exchange with sometimes quite irate people, who are annoyed they still have adverts, but still need prompting about 3 times that we cannot actually remove adverts without knowing where from _________________

Having no adverts is the best thing since sliced bread!!
The forum is 10x quicker, pages load at the click of the mouse!
Very pleased
Very highly recommended

Our members from far-flung parts that still have to rely on dial-up are delighted with the faster advert-free service _________________ overthegate.myfreeforum.org

Please advise as I am worried I have lost my money to some sort of fraud. |
Hiya lads, I just registered to pay to go ad free and this problem above is happening to me too when I try to enter the username and password e-mailed to me also am I asked to pay after logging on with the new account? I'm only asking because I want to pay through paypal but wasn't giving the option during the checkout process, so right now I still haven't actually paid anything
Thanks'
