If you create a Forum template for youself in the "Administration panel/Style Admin/Template Editor", then when you edit the template the logo for the forum will normally be detected and displayed along with its name and size.
You can therefore simply use the image upload dialog to upload a replacement graphic which if it has the same name and size as the orginal will replace the logo with your own.
You will then need to install the new template using "Administration panel/Style Admin/Add" and set it as the default style in "Administration panel/Configuration".
