Spammer has started trouble and he has a myfastforum account

Hello.. we already banned this guy but he registered as sHok! And he is only 13 yrs of age which I found on his myspace page

Considering that he has a forum here I would appreciate if something can be done about this..

The link you gave has a virus on the page that trys to force download a cleansafe virus scanner which is funny as it is a virus in its self.

Posting of other peoples email address is not acceptable on the open forum

The link on his myspace is not a myfreeforum, the link to the website was not a myfreeforum link just a link to a website with a virus on it.

You have provided us with no prove please post the links the the said spam.

Links that do not contain viruses would be nice

All you did was to provide a link to a website that has a virus on it,

first impression told me it was a waste of time, luckily my computer is protected others that clicked on that link may not have been, and they wouldn't appreciate getting said virus.

So again please post links to where the spam is please

I see your point but then who says it is his email , i could spam another forum and use one of my members emails say yours for example then your real email address is here for all to see and send you the usual amount of rubbish. This is why i edited it

No problem spammers are a pain the the wild donkey, and Admin does crack down on them, but as i pointed out with out any links to where they have left this spam it is hard for anything to be done, all i was given was a link to a website which contained a virus, which as i stated was a waste of time as i had to edited it out.

It is also worth noting that in this system which has tens of thousands of forums, the primary responsibility of protecting your forum lies with each forum owner.

If we were to follow up every issue between members, then given that allegations themselves and be false and that people can be unfairly framed by anyone setting up accounts in their names, we could be here from now until doomsday doing nothing but trying to check on peoples complaints

Having said that we do try and stop serial spammers or other abusers of the system, and if people post clear links to the evidence, then we may be able to do something.

A) the link I posted did not get you to a virus that was forced download - my members have agreed with me. I posted not to click on the link he posted just in case..they think you are full of bs symon - there words not mine

B) When I post in the SUPPORT forum- I want support not back talk ..and thats what I received.

C) This person is 13 YEARS OLD!!!! need I say more


D) I am now seriously considering moving my forum...I do not appreciate the response I received and considering he has is own myfastforum one would think that something would be done

But heh thanks so much for caring...this is not the first time I have recieved sarcastic responses but this will be the last time..

We have asked for you to post details like links to where the spam is, and you have failed to do that.

We can only give supported based on the usefulness of what people post. Posting a link to a forced virus download was not useful!

I am NOT happy with How I as a WELL STANDING member have been treated thus far.. Common courtesy would be nice and is expected...

Editted to say::: I want to add that I am more annoyed at how I was treated my symons remarks than I am by the spammer...
As a support forum I came here for support not to be treated like this.

I think you are reading this thread somewhat differently to me, or Symon.

But the point here is that you have someone being abusive, if you quote what that abuse is and an IP address it is from, then maybe that can be checked with the forum he allegedly has here.

Your first post has only had the virus link removed,you did not post anything about not clicking on anylinks records will show this to be true.

You came here for support yet you gave us absolute nothing to go on , so how can we give you support, no links to said spam, no proof what so ever, just an email which could of been anyones, and links to websites not owned by myff, apart from the link to his myfast forum.

As for the link i have no reason to lie i clicked on it it went to his website (not myff, or his myspace site) around 20 seconds later a force popup came up which then redirected to a virus scanner which is A well know virus in its self.

For those reason i said it was a waste of time,

1. no links to back up your claim

2. a link to a website that has a virus on it

You are making more out of my first post than is needed if you had posted correctly in the first place with links and proof and no links to a virus then my response would have been different.

To ask for support you have to give us something to go on in the first place, apologies if you felt i was being rude , but we cant help you unless you help yourself in the first place and posting an obscure message in the wrong place of the forum in the beginning wasn't the best of starts.

You seemed to have deleted or editted what you wrote but it is still viewable in my second post with your quote.

I am not making this more of an issue but I am upset with the way I was treated..You have editted over my original post which only posted the information that was posted to my site.

I have banned him as a member and his IP address was annoymous.

If you were nice with your initial reply I would not be upset..but you EDITTED THAT REPLY.. and I know it.

I am not happy with your remarks and that is not making more of it.

I came here for support on what should I do next and Symon you replied harshly and very critically which was unnecessary considering that you eddited your comments = I think you know what you did was wrong.

I can see that I will not be helped with this issue...
