As we move over to more servers in the next short period. There will be 24 hour periods where some forums will see themselves rerouted and their names changed from say: forum.myfreeforum.org to forum.server1.myfreeforum.org this will only be for a matter of 24 hours or so whilst DNS records update. But all the same it would be good to have something a little more interesting than: server1 server2 etc. Any suggestons? _________________ Family Friendly Shareware \| \| Web Design/Services \| Free Forums forum.myfreeforum.org

But very very boring. Remember no one will have to type these names, the old links will work. But we will have to administer them. So remembering 1,2,3... would be hard work. I'd rather think "I have to upgrade Pluto" than some anonymous number.

I just want to make sure that those who are older members of my site will still be able to find it if they want, and also, the shorter the better. perhaps they could be forum.mffalpha.org forum.mffbeta.org forum.mffcharlie.org and so forth through the military alphabet(it may be the US military alphabet) or perhaps greek cultures forum.mffsparta.org forum.mffathens.org Just a few ideas to get the ball rolling. _________________ DarkRoostermusic

if we move your forum, then for 24 hours when you access it via:

lowestexistance.myfreeforum.org

it might end up showing an address:

lowestexistance.zaphod.myfreeforum.org

in the browser, and there "may" be issues with people having to login again. After 24 hours or so all will look as it did.
