PLEASE ENTER THE FOLLOWING>>>>

Enter your myff forum url here, if the issue is on a particular part of the forum, then give a link to where the problem actually is. Do not enter your own domain name it must be the actual myff link :http://overthegate.myfreeforum.org

If you are asking a template related question, what is the name of the template:

Please indicate keywords you have searched on:hide newest registered member, hide new member, hide latest member, newest registered member

Is there a way of hiding the newest registered member from view?
We have had to delete 6 obscene new members so far this evening and 7 last night.
They are joining with proxies and use a new one as soon as I ban it.
It is an ongoing problem.

Can it be altered so that the newest member shows once they have been activated by admin?

Not currently. But I concede that this would be a very good idea. I think when the server moves are done I will do something in this area.

That would be useful
We have altered the template now (after constantly deleting 24 increasingly abusive 'new members' )
Thanks admin.

hi I simply cant understand the pleasure these members are getting abusing the forum its clear to me they need help but what Id do and Im sure Admin will pickup on this it would be better to set all new users to moderation good luck with your forum.

David in scotland.

Go to Administration Panel click styles then portal settings look for moderation edit the title
moderation next new members show title yes so when these new members join they will make a post and only you can see the moderated post thus preventing upset from other members then you simply delete these users.
this is a first class support forum where you will recieve the best of help Admin works non stop helping every'one thanks Admin Best Wishes

Martin, any luck with that new function?
We reinstated the newest registered member function an hour ago and he has immediately started with obscene names again. The latest one is heeheeheebunchofcunts - this is the third this evening.
We all know who is doing it and he has even moved from MFF to a different server to continue his hate campaign against us.

Been very tied up with server moves, the new mobile browsing mode and the phpbb3 upgrades

I have not forgotten this idea, but it has the unfortunate status of looking like a function that might benefit from being done in one of a couple of different ways, as such it has to wait until the time is there to make the right choice.

Trust me it will be done, and it may even be done this week assuming the dust settles from the phpbb3 upgrades.
