Spamming and copyright violation

I have had several complaints about the owner of this forum spamming them from users of my site at http://www.aspiesforfreedom.com

The content on the above linked topic is also directly copied without permission from my site which is linked in the same topic - suggesting that we are somehow supporting this new forum.

I have emailed the admin requesting they respond to your points.

I cannot see the problem with the link. It gives credit to your site and makes no claim of affilliation I can see.

They state "thankyou to" suggesting that they had permission when they did not. The content itself was used without permission also. You can't copy a CD of microsoft windows and put a sticker on it saying "thankyou to microsoft" in order to get away with it.

Gareth, I apologize to your users who have made complaints of my spamming them with information about my forum.

I only e-mailed anyone I did e-mail once, so don't think spamming is a correct term to use, and they were all people on a site for people with Asperger's syndrome, so I think they would have found the link revelant.

Nevertheless, I won't do it again now I know it upsets people.

As for the forum using your information, I didn't think you'd mind if I credited your page and its writer as the source, and didn't think you'd want to give permission upfront.

May I have your permission now? Or would you like me to remove the information? Or just the credit to your site?
