I don't understand what you mean?

Is it not clear what i want to happen? i want to make my site discoverable via search engines and i dont know how to do it.thats why i have posted on here for some help.

Well the basic fact is that you don't need to submit sites to search engines at all anyway.

You just need to get links posted to your forum from other sites.

Well i submitted my website to google and now i can type  the name in google and it comes up with it.it wont let me do this with the forum tho.there is a link to my forum on the website and links have been posted on countless other forums and google never seems to pick up on any of it.
Am i missing something? i have 43 registered members and around 5000 posts but never once does any related search point to the forum.

There are millions of web sites, your forum at a glance is not keyword rich about anything in particular, so (unless by virtue of some quality post on the forum that does scrape into peoples consciousness and gets links that then increase your google ranking) you can't expect to compete with sites that concentrate on keywords and have links to them.
