It won't be that soon. The last patch release of phpbb3 in April contained large swathes of changes, and I am not happy with the idea of making our own large changes until official patch releases stop doing that. e.g. in software terms we need to be a branch and not a fork. My forum freaked out over the smilies. From what I have read here, I guess they will have to deal with it. I also cannot get into the Control Panel now. Any suggestions on how to or why?

On my forum the smilies are a mess, since they all have the 'X' symbol on them... It's going to be hard to delete them.
