hello! I signed up for a forum earlier today with the intention of experimenting with the shop function. I've been reading the forums and the howtodoit bit, but I'm clearly having a really dense moment because whilst I can see lots that will certainly be helpful in a bit, I just can't find the instrusctions of what to do initially to install the shop and get started. Could someone take pity on me and point me at the right file please!
All I've done so far is sign up for the forum, I havent done anything else yet.
thanks!
Sally

replacing the address with your own forum, there are more ways to show the shop that you can shake a knitting needle at, including simply having it on the default web page. |
yes, but where is the shop portal? I'm sure I'm being very dense, I just can't see where to get started All I can find is a forum control panel with buttons like 'general' and 'footer', and then the forum itself. I can't find where I alter templates, get the shop started and that sort of thing. It must be obvious as everyone else seems to find it, I just cant see where to look

You need the admin panel, when you are logged to your forum, there is a link at the bottom of the forum.
When you created a forum, you should have been emailed a direct link to the admin panel. _________________

Aha, I've found it! I was looking for a link somewhere in the control panel, not in the forum itself.
Will have a play and see how I get on. Thanks

Keep it to one support question per thread, if you have another question start a new topic. This will help others using "search" to find answers. _________________
