I've seen this on other phpBB2 forums, where in the VISITS portal it doesn't only show registered users, it show guests. So instead of saying something like "14 Recently online:" and then listing the users, it would show: "50 Recently online (14 Members, 36 Guests):" and then list the registered users only.
