You would probably get help from one of the members here. But we ourselves cannot commit to unkown amounts of graphic editing.

I always optimse for web because a lot of my users are older and don't have broadband etc. It is good manners to optimise because it speeds up the user's page loading and enhances their enjoyment.

This is an important point, we try to avoid editing supplied logos for the forums, but they often come in way too large and we have to convert to jpg, which does degrade the image a bit.

A big logo might look pretty, but if people leave the forum before it is even loaded, as they are on dialup and they can't be bothered to wait, then it does no one any favours.

.png is a good quality and isn't TOO big in size..

Ben, an optimised Gif or Jpg is a lot smaller than a png. Some of the older browsers will struggle with a png whareas jpg and gif are universal and that old they are written in stone!

it is better if you tell me what you want. Making a rank pack takes a fair amount of time and for me to make some as examples would be a lot of time up the wotsit wasted.
I think the bulbs work on your forum as they are to be honest. The only other things I could suggest war2peace = Doves or peace signs...

What is your colour scheme and will you be changing it?
How many ranks do you need?
Any specialist ranks? (Banned, Newbie, Mod, Admin?)

I think blue and a sharp white would show up nice against the {icicle} color sceme that exists now.
