I'll have to be honest and say that is not really speaking to me. Bear in mind a logo will have to be for:
www.myfreeforum.org
as well as the forum.

In addition, the .ORG appears to be the focus of the image, and the MYFREEFORUM part is more important(<thats years of graphic design speaking.
I made this for a trumpet site.

That is also a flaw with the current logo. But the priority when starting myfreeforum.org was working forums and not spending hours/days on a logo. Even now I am quite lacking in inspiration on what our logo should be.

Number 2 obviously wouldn't work. I didn't figure out what you meant by 'Main site' until a penny dropped  DOH
