Systematic is the keyword here.
Locate the template cache files, normally this is under cache off the root directory.
Clear this manually.
Look through the modules table in phpmyAdmin, are the new options in the database?
I am despite several minutes looking just now not quite sure where and how modules gets templated, but the wrong options cannot arise from thin air, either they are cached somewhere and need deleting or are still in the database. _________________

me again. lol
i noticed that my new/test forum (the one i created to rip tables from) has acp folder in the includes folder when browsing files on my server but my forum im using doesnt ? i transffered the folder over but this made no difference. ive also noticed that when you change to another webpage you got logged out of the forrum. i assume this is because im missing the feature/setting from the admin panel for the cookies.
whats the chances of me making a donation for you to log in and fix this minor problem for me. i wouldnt ask but the trust that has been built up using myff is unquestionable and i couldnt ask anyone else. i also know this isnt normal but it would be truly appreciated as its this small problem thats holding me back now and i feel like im going in circles
please please please admin _________________

How did you create the folder structure?
I don't understand why you would have two folder structures You should be starting with a single phpbb3 installation with all the right folders and admin panel options.
Why not go back to a new installation and re-import, this time making sure the admin panel was correct before you start and not overwriting the modules table?
We don't recommend people to run forums on their own systems unless they are able to learn to maintain them, the problems of doing so are why we have myff in the first place.
I am sure I could fix it, but I'd have to estimate the task to take a few hours and it would have to be charged at proper rates and that is not a path I like to go down. _________________

Just as an aside on this for anyone else reading the thread.
I did recommend a test import first whilst keeping the existing forum live. We will always supply multiple exports for the cost of one, so people can figure out a working import procedure first and do the final transfer later.
No one has yet failed on a transfer, but when it comes to phpbb3 transfers only two phpbb3 have been done so far. One without a hitch and this one which I think will get sorted, but which is facing additional complications because the testing of the import was not done sufficiently before trying to go live. _________________

hi admin. i was wondering what your hourly fee would be to fix this for me. ?
i have spent many hours playing with this and have sussed out alot how it works but i just cannot suss out what im doing wrong here. i have followed your instruction but im just not getting it. dont get me wrong your instructions are clear but im just missing someting at my end.
and as time goes on i concerned that my now active forum will have to revert back to the last export which has got to be over 500 posts and a couple of new members and the longer it goes on the more i will loose
thank you _________________

I think the fairest approach would not be hourly.
If I was massively experienced in what could go wrong with a phpbb3 installation it would be different, but it is not on for you to be asked to pay for my learning curve.
The hourly rate would be £30 + VAT. e.g. The minimum you would expect to pay a plumber.
In this case I would suggest a fixed fee of £50 + VAT.
This is based on your problem being the loss of the admin panel functions.
You might want to PM Viper who has the requisite experience and might want the job and work cheaper. _________________
