I'm sorry to mail you directly but I can't find anywhere else to post complaints about abuse etc at a forum that has been set up tonight

90% of the stuff on this forum is libellous, full of hatred and aimed directly at me and my family. A previous forum the founder was a member of ha been closed down for similar reasons - for details please contact mamod@btinternet.com for confirmation

This forum obviously contravenes your tems and condiotions so please could you either remove all references to me and or my family or alternatively remove the forum from your server.

It would help us and your case if you posted direct links to the libel stuff, after a quick look at the forum i see that you have been banned from it so you cant ask them to remove it.

From what I see, they don't like you (for whatever reason) and simply wish you to leave them be. I read every post on every link you gave, and didn't see anything untoward, just discussion about how to ban an unwanted member.

It is not nice to be unwanted, I grant you that...but that doesn't negate what I see as normal forum chatter.

Bear in mind, I am just a user of these forums the same as you and am in no way connected to the administration of myfreeforums, I am just voicing an opinion

What I care about is that the stuff they are posting is untrue - isn't that called libel?

It's not just the people running the forums it's down to the hosts as well

All I have asked is that the admin remove posts about me which are untrue and to make sure this forum is run within the terms and conditions they set. I don't want to join but I don't want to be the subject of a ridiculous "hate campaign" orchestrated by a schoolboy either.

As far as I can see and it does not help being deluged with links any more than no links being given, as I can't read all of a forum! it is a dispute where we cannot be judeges of what is right and wrong.

You can either:

1) Ignore it, it will fizzle out.
2) Post something clear cut that can be acted on.
3) Consider legal action against them, which is incalcuably expensive.

The best action is 1. Then they will either die out, or start running a sensible forum.

They refer to someone called 'Andy' (common name), at a given IP address. You say that IP address isn't yours? If not, then I don't see the issue, it isn't even about you.

If it is your IP then what they are saying is the truth.

Interesting case, I look forward to seeing how this develops

Please could you explain your complaints process in order that I can actually get you to do something about libellous material you are publishing

Bravo, they actually say that I made a post I obviously didn't using Andy K not just Andy - that's libel as are several of the otehr comments aimed directly at me.
