I was made admin recently to help reorganise our forum http://renaultsport.myfastforum.org/
When I was still mod, and even before that as a user, I always had a problem with the session. If I didn't click on "log me in automatically on each visit", and I have what seems to be a successful log in (if lucky), then when I post something and press "submit" it takes me back to the log in page. Which means I always have to tick that box.
I have IE7 and have tried the same on Firefox 2.0.0.14, on different pc's but to no avail. and I know I'm not the only one on the forum as there was a thread posted about this from one of the users.
When I try do any admin, I may get the control panel on the left but sometimes I click a link, I get the main forum page in either the control panel side of the web page or the right hand side. Sometimes it works, but more often not. I have also cleared the cache, cookies (delete all) in both browser and also set the cookie accept in IE for both first party and third party (overriding default). Also when I log out I keep getting "invalid_session" until I click logout a few times and it eventually takes. Very frustrating and out of ideas.
Could you please take a look on our forum and see if you get the same? Thanks in advance.

I have just logged in and not seen any issues.
As you can see this sort of complaint is very rare, implying something local to the connection or forum template. _________________

... oh furthermore, when I press ctrl+F5 to refresh the page on the admin reauthenticate page, the result seems to be better but not for long. Seems it's caching the page. What setting do you suggest in the browsers regarding that?
Thanks again.
