http://onlyoldskool.myfastforum.org I registered my site and verifyied it on google. But everytime I go to who is online in the forum admin I just see members and google advertising targeting. Google spiders the web so simply posting a link here gets you on google, probably almost as fast as manually telling google about your site. Neither will ensure that you get indexed on anything other than googles own schedule though.
