On the back of the wildly successful downsizer food weekend, we have been having some treats like Organic Goat curry

There are few perks with helping to run downsizer, but one is having a millionaire on board with a habit of refusing to be paid for meat supplies and dishing out the left over supplies at the end of the weekend

Well I'm sitting here with a cup of tea, having spent a lot of time today nursing along a real masterpiece of a curry that probably will get eaten at 1am if at all, as it is for the descending hoards for my sons 20th birthday party. It's a terrible waste of good food

We've put in some chicken and ribs to marinade after watching Nigella Lawsons show on BBC iPlayer

Link (you must live in UK or it wont work) : http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b007z2r2

We're doing the marinaded thing and the ice cream thing.  They both look gorgeous.  Having that tomorrow.

Nice.

I must put the oven on, have a garlic stuffed chicken to go on. For one reason or another this is not working out as a birthday type day

There's this crappy product, That we're asking you to buy -

We're aiming it at children, So we're gonna be quite sly.

We'll give them little goodies, That will go with their crap meal -

The toys that they then take home Will be the BEST part of the deal.

This cheap and nasty food they'll eat, Is sold with great panache -

You really should appreciate How well we sell our trash!

MCdonalds dont you just love it.

To be honest, I don't see why everyone hates McDonalds.

It's served quickly, it tastes good, there aren't that many calories in them and it's pretty cheap.

Is it just because it is seen as 'lazy' if you eat from there and not make something yourself? Or because you see overweight people eating there (everything is good in moderation, remember)? Or because you don't trust a load of 16 year olds making your food and have heard some 'horror stories' about what they do to the food?

I'm intrigued.
