The most clear point is that you have the horse before the cart, a forum is about posts and members and not templates!

You have no posts and no members. Hence currently no forum.

Next it is a mistake to make a lot of changes to a random template that may of may not use the definitions in the theme editor. Learn how to use the theme editor by making one change at a time to the default subSilver template. A theme that does use these values. Change a single color at first, something that if it does not work you can report in exact terms to the support forum.

But remember we support primarily people working on real forums.

"Learn how to use the theme editor by making one change at a time to the default subSilver template. A theme that does use these values."

So... when you go into "Styles Admin" then into "Edit Templates/Logos" or "Management" with only subSilver template, you can then change any part whole style within its functions?

I have looked a little while over your main page and some through your forums. I am very sorry to bother you about this. I was wondering if you can give me the link(s) to the tutorials for theme edit and changing styles. I have admin controls down easily now and theres a starting amount of people in the forum with several posts (begining posts).

Thanks for your time

Why is it that when I installed the MissionImpossible template, and then chose for it to be the default template, it didn't change? I kept choosing it, but it stayed as the original forum color/template...

hey admin, I want to use the Army theme (the one thats green and has gun icons) but it doesn't have a logo, so I can't change it to mine. Are you able to make me one based on that template, but with my logo at the top (saved as 'amendedlogo.gif' in my files) and change the gun icon to my icon (saved as 'piggy.gif' in my files) please?
my forum is http://primusboarhunting.myfastforum.org/
thanks

We don't create custom templates, we give you the ability to edit the templates yourself.

well I tried that. I read through abut 3 hours of stuff on here, and still it didn't work. It didn't detect a current logo, so there was no way to change it so that there was ne. I clicked "make main logo" etc and it didn't show up.

So you have to edit overall_header.tpl and put a logo in, you need to know some html to do this though.

It would help you more to post this post in the portal section , as many people will not read post that are at the end of a huge sticky.
