A box saying click the yes button before time runs out.  It redirects to :  http://clickxo.com/tactictraffic/?u1=5041598&context=apn1882_fra1CLOZnproj_ziBxACGKHQ3-j7uM7pPCIOMTA5Ljc3LjExMS4yMTUoATD8_b25BQ..

Getting this too. It's one of those click here to make megabucks scam things

That's kind of the pond scum of the net, hard to block entirely. I take the attitude with them of click on the buggers knowing what they are, as that probably costs them money and discourages the practice.

Get it on this forum too, would it be possible to add a break to it so it doesn't underline the last text written?

To be honest not sure what issue you are seeing there, but the screenshots are really very small so maybe I'm missing something.

Regardless of the nature of the advert, they have started appearing IMMEDIATELY below the last line of text, making the readability of  that line more difficult due to the distraction. I agree with the previous poster that there should be at least one line break between text we have written and an advert banner.

When using an iPad or phone, if you try and click on or copy the last line, you inevitably click on the banner by accident. It's a nuisance!

What has changed are the platforms that people view these forums on.  Some people might use a PC with  ad blockers and not see them, then when they use a phone or Ipad they suddenly see them glued to the last line they typed. Thankfully you've cured that one.

yeah better now thanks, as Frank says we were mostly using mobile devices where the text is a bit smaller, I guess mobile device screenshots are smaller than PC ones. Here's how it looks now

Hi admin, we have started receiving very annoying adverts in the forumini, and I now receive a large number of complaints about them daily. Can you advise please?

Some examples:

mnnorthstars wrote:
This week I've started seeing ads in the middle of posts on forumini, but I didn't think that it was much of a big deal.  Lots of sites, even pay sites, have ads; I can get over it.  The big problem has been this morning when at least four times I have had to close out of the site and start over because there's a freeze screen with a message box telling me I have been selected for a $1,000 gift card and the only way to get past that screen (theoretically, I haven't clicked it) is an okay box that I'm assuming takes me to some thoroughly shady website where they try to steal my identity/sign me up for a pyramid scheme/put me in contact with a wealthy Nigerian prince who just needs a bit of help laundering his money.

Has anyone else had this problem?  Is this the future of forumini?

I am having this same problem of ads popping up on the screen and then taking over. The only way to eliminate is to log-out and back in and then it happens again.

I hope that this can be resolved, since I will be unable to use the site "as is".

I have reported these, but as ever we request links to where the problem can be seen.

To easily trace such things we need to either see it ourselves or see the "generated source" for the page.
