I no that the mass spamming was not Ben or Gaara (mods on SwapitShop Boards) defiantly not Ben because I no him, in the real world, and he wouldn't but I do no he was spamming a small amount so perhaps just a suspension against the mods for a few days? To suspend the whole forum would be ridiculous. I do understand how members such as Swapits56 would be angry but it is not SSB's problem.
/\ My view.

I have given due credit for the swapitshopboard admin Jakequaza for openly admitting it was mods on his forum.
But board admins are responsible for the behavior of their members to some degree, this applies doubly when those members are staff, and applies 100% if those members actions are related to their forum membership at swapitshopboard.
Posting crap on a rival forum is something an admin must be seen to take action over. _________________

Can I just say sorry to you, admin, as there seem to have been loads of these types of topics on here about us supposedly spamming another forum.
They are almost always a complete waste of your time, and I'm sure that after you have received so many complaints about us, you won't have a very high opinion of us.
What would you recommend we do to stop odd individuals being so moronic?

The only real tool at your disposal is the temporary or permanent ban. I have made the assumption that you have already removed such members from staff positions.
As you say your forum is cropping up a lot, and that is not acceptable. At the end of the day it is your forum that suffers, it gets a bad reputation and you and your members will get to realize that my sword is hanging over your head.
The saving grace at the moment is that there is a constructive dialog and I do not believe you want this to be happening, and will try and take action to stop it, whilst I won't micro manage and demand a particular course of action I will recommend that you do take drastic, harsh and public action that you post a link to here!
This will send the right message to everyone. _________________

There you go, posted that a while ago.
I have removed the offending members from the staff, they may be added on review at a later date, once they realise their errors and learn it's not acceptable.

The message still has't come though with your users.
At the moment they is a number of spammers on the forum. The mods/admins are trying to get rid of it as soon as possible. But they should't have to

From my point of view "they" is not useful.
If you were to provide ip addresses, as well as which users are suspected of being responsible and why you think this, then I would have something to act on if I investigated. _________________

Yeah, I'm beginning to wonder whether these are actually my members making these posts. I mean, they have all used proxies every time, and it creates incredibly bad publicity for us, and increases the chances of us being taken off MyFF.
However, surely there could be a rule where only admins of the forum where it's happened can complain about incidents on their forum, as having people like Swapits56 posting stuff like this is just plain irratating.

Vague allegations from what ever source are irritating, but we cannot and should not ban people from reporting issues if they are not forum admins.
From my point of I tend to have less clue and either side of the issue, as I don't really know much about the forums, their members, their history etc.
e.g. Jakequaza clearly knows and has acknowledged that his members have been at least partially responsible for the problems. I have never been given anything that actually shows this to be true.
Of course Jakequaza is entirely correct to come clean about this, as if it ever becomes apparent that a forum admin is lying (even by omission) then they will be in big trouble.
The truth does tend to eventually come out, but this process is not aided by people undermining their own credibility when complaining. e.g. Swapits56 has made 7 posts in this thread which have explicitly claimed SSB members are responsibly without a shred of evidence being given. Having set that standard for himself any future complaints by him are going to be far more suspect than they would normally be.
