http://auoff.myfreeforum.org/index.php

Being 100% new to forums themself, and only a week or so new to building one myself, what exactly are the present options to opt out of all adverts, or to pay for advertising myself?

We presently only have a few users, but we want to plan ahead if possible.

The present tiny advert at the bottom of our posts and replies are not that intrusive, but it would be nicer to see them below the posters signature instead of atop them.

Thanks, so far building this is easy, somewhat fun (or is that reversed? Wink ), and its very rewarding to be able to do this for free...but I do understand the cost of freedom

Ad free for your forum can be purchased in the site shop

Admin has been running an avertise your forum service if you provide a banner of the size described in post one of the thread.  This is a free service

http://pleasurepasofino.myfreeforum.org/index.php

recently these two links showed up at the bottom of our forum

Create your own free forum | Buy a domain to use with your forum
goes to myfanforum.org            goes to secure.registerapi.com/resell.php

are these links part of a new required part of hosting in addition to what was required left in the template?
they are not intrusive, just wanted to be informed of changes to our forum.   and ensure that it is not removed if it is required... although I was not able to see it in the template anywhere..

Thank you
Stefanie

As far as I recall they've been at the bottom for over a month and do disappear if a forum goes advert free

Today the adverts have started to appear on the top of our forum and disappeared from the bottom, any chance we can move them back to the bottom.

Many thanks.

You can pay for advert free in the site shop, that is the only option.

But unlike other forums here, ours just displays your advent and not a variety???

Many thanks.

Adverts obviously are not static. It won't always be that advert, but so what if it was? Free servers are paid for by advertising.

True but how just advertising a free forum advert will make the same revenue as a pizza advert, euro tunnel etc etc.

But please I was just asking for help and not attacking anybody.

Why not some Ad Surveys? Allowing Users to fill out these surveys for some form of incentive and bringing in a profit to the site and having a small reward for those who do it.

Once again, we've been caught out at  http://modelsteam.myfreeforum.org/   on the renewal date of our ad free, with ads appearing alerting us to that fact.

Whilst I know it's our own fault, could regular ad free forums be sent a reminder so we could pay our dues before the period runs out?

If this is posted in the wrong place, I apologise.

Sandman

There is a reminder system, but I'm sorry it is buggy, it is one of those areas I have been putting off fixing as I'm afraid of people getting a load of spam from it.
I will look again though.

Thanks for your quick response, Admin.

This is a very minor item in the overall scheme of things, and we very much appreciate the level of service we get from MFF.

This response is just what we have come to expect from a top notch outfit.

Sandman.
