Request to map domains

i wish i could tell you... but like i said on page 12 i have no idea about this mapping business and did ask for help! but was not offered the help was simply told to post in english!!

i didnt do anything to get this mapping done it was done by a 3rd party, who then told me it was ready to request. that was at 4am this morning im in the uk he is in canada so it will be many hours now till i can talk to them...

i will try to have a look but i have no idea what im looking for or where

Where you registered the domain is where you should set nameservers, and they should be ns1 - ns4.myff.org.

The main problem though was our main name server had an issue, that is now resolved so propagation should be proceeding.

ok so i have to change them to myfunforum name servers and theres ment to be 4 of them is that right?

are what you want as nameservers.

ok cool it sort of works now, but maybe i did something wrong or its to early yet? but www.pokajokers.com goes to the "dont exist" page,
but if i put www.pokajokers.com/index.php it goes to the forum ok is that normal? also i think the person who gave me the request mapping info got it wrong because it was ment to go to my webpage 1st not my forum so i think it should of been

www.pokajokers.com linking to http://pokajokers.myfunforum.org/index.html ? really sorry for all this i hope its not to late or anything

also i noticed that it still says myfunforum.org under my logo even though its a .com in the browser adi bar. so i guess thats a manual change i have to make somewhere in the header or something like that?

Admin/configure is where you change the name.

As for the www issue, you need to give DNS caches a chance to clear. It may be up to 48 hours.

I just bought a domain from you and would like it mapped. My present site name is:

mywynyard.myfastforum.org

The name of my new domain is:

mywynyard.com

I am not sure what propagation time is and I tried using the search feature to find out with no result.

First thing this morning, I typed my new domain name (mywynyard.com) into the address bar and it immediately took me to my site! I then tried to log in and am not able to. I am assuming that I won't be able to until it goes through the 'propagation time' which can be up to 48 hours.
