I have put these in contrib, without the pak, there really is too little there to justify their own section or a pak.

It should be a smilie section when adding smilies in the admin panel.

Cheers, found them.

I was being a little simple then I'm afraid.

I would like to request the smilies in the zip archive be added. My forum is a religious forum and these smilies would be nice to have available. I have a few added that are not religious in nature, but are still useful.

I have put them all in contrib. I don't think there was enough for a "themed" group, and a "themed" group does need to really be "themed".

Thanks!

There is something buggy about the adding smiley feature. Occasionally when I add a smiley and then reorder some, by exchanging their numerical order, and submit, a debug message appears and I then lose lots of smilies I have added. Just lost over two hundred. Takes hours to recover from this holding my breath along the way.

Don't suppose there is some backup where the smilies in my folder can be restored is there? Otherwise I will have to start cherry-picking from all the libraries all over again.

The debug error was related to not being able to insert a smilie. Sorry I did not capture a screenshot.

It usually occurs under the following circumstances:

1. Add some smilies.
2. Now swap the assigned order of a recently added smiley with another one. For example, new smiley added is numbered 261. I want to swap its order in the list of smileys with one numbered 33.
3. So I place the number 261 in the one currently numbered 33 and the number 33 in the one currently numbered 261.
4. I then select the re-order smiley option. Usually this works just fine. But at times there seems to be a race condition of sorts, especially when I do this immediately after adding a new smiley, and the system barfs and catastrophically blows away all smilies above a certain number.

If you are unable to find a recent backup of the smiley configuration for my forum, I guess I will start over and only reorder smileys one at a time with lots of refreshes to make sure whatever is going on is more stabilized. I think the simultaneous re-ordering method I used above is at the root of the issue.

I won't begin reinstalling smilies until I hear from you. If you have a means of recovering any past config of my forum's smilies I assume it would overwrite anything I would do today. Keeping my fingers crossed you can work a miracle.

I'm sorry I can't recover this, but I will see if I can duplicate the bug.

Knowing the debug message would always help.

Sigh. Thanks for checking. I hope I don't see this error again as it is quite devastating, but I will capture it the next time if I do.
