He has payed around £180 so far. I think he was going to give Mike 1K but I think he's changing his mind now because the forum is becoming less and less active by the day. They used to get like 2K posts a day, they are only getting like 200-300 a day now. And the reason for this is Jimi. He has completely ruined Mikes forum. I actually feel a bit sorry for Mike now

forums have to be about the members, any forum that has "VIP sections" for those that pay money is going to breed resentment. I had a lot of trouble personally on a forum of mine before myff was formed. I did use advertising to pay for the forum, and despite the fact that I made it as plain as possible that money would be accounted for, and would not be going into my pockets, but back in to the web site, there were those that chose not to believe that e.g. the mere suggestion that a forum may be about money and not the members can be harmful. But everything about swapitshop, what with the donation button, vip section, money changing hands (or not) for the forum, plus the other advertising, is giving a message to the members that it is being run to line someone pockets. _________________ Family Friendly Shareware \| \| Web Design/Services \| Free Forums

Of course we are sh it that is why he has copied this support forum for his own very laughable support forum, every cat and description is the same he even ripped off the main page, this coming from a teen who cried so much when anyone copied anything from him.

But anyway he must know what he is talking about as he runs so many servers and forum host but yet hang on he is still here using us ??? so what does that tell you.

Admin will not ban his forum as it would be unfair to all his long suffering members, why upset so many just for the childish actions of someone who knows nothing, takes all the free support then, slags us off on M<SN etc ??? while claiming to be a huge hosting company ??

Saw it and ignored it, I think jimi would probably like us to react to that sort of thing.

It would claw him out of a hole if we banned the forum!

I will state here and now what should be obvious though. They are on a ticking clock, the advert free status of the forum expires in October. e.g. they have in effect paid hosting until that time. But after then we are under no obligation to allow them to renew, and we simply cannot allow a forum with fraudulent activity to show our advertising.

I am in all honesty unsure on the best way to deal with this. The vast majority of the members their do not deserve to wake up one morning to find their forum is gone.
