But all those templates have a lot of garbage that could be deleted. Why not mention problem templates and we will tidy at source?

you are over quota. But you can select unused images from the select image list and delete them. For example the german language images, or the old phpbb logo. |
Ok so, I did as you suggested and went ahead and deleted most of what I thought I could in order to get rid of the window that shows a duff template for my forum. I am curious to know if I did the right thing and if it is still showing as a skin. The idea is to get rid of it completely so that it does not take up more space than what it already has, and the other one is so that it does not get downloaded as it is definitelly now a duff, bogus and dumbly created skin...
I kinda feel guilty now that I realize I should've read the instructions before getting into such fancy endeavors.
I am sorry to have created such garbage... _________________ Work 12 steps to achieve: employment, career and job satisfaction, and deal with everyday life job issues and challenges...

Currently I have not implemented a template delete button. Which is a bit of an oversight, but then again I would be surprised if most people are conciencious enough to delete unused templates. _________________

Ok no problem. Let me know if you can, if you do build that onto the page so I can go ahead and delete it. _________________ Work 12 steps to achieve: employment, career and job satisfaction, and deal with everyday life job issues and challenges...

I found that as long as u pick the right template then all u really need to do is change the image to one of your own and thats it.
Im not gonna try and do something all complicated b'coz there are so many templates to choiose from theres bound to be something for everyone.

I wish I could streamline that process a little more. As you say it is all most people want to do. _________________

I personally don't know, but you are not helping yourself by asking in a thread that does not have this as a subject. _________________
