It has been read, but I am a hands on learner. right now, it makes sense, but when I use it, I will understand. In addition, just checking this image


Couldn't the logo for you site, just be taken from an image hosting site, or another source, by simply changeing the image source, rather than having to upload to mff?

THe image source could be anywhere. Though in some ways it is neater for it to be local. Though of course that is our bandwidth.

The first "bug" has been found and fixed, but only for this forum

There is what i'd consider to be a bug in the phpbb system which is very unlikely to be seen by most admins.

In essence a style is stored as an proper integer number in the database with 16 or maybe 32 bits assigned to it.

But the user style is only a 8 bit signed integer, thus if you have played with more than 127 styles and then allow users or in this case the "editor" user to have a style override, then the style they select may have bits lost off the number making them see the wrong style or making them attempt to select a style than no longer exists. In which case access to the forum will be broken for them

This happened here on the support forum, and has been resolved by upping the bits for that field in the database. I am not sure whether to apply this across all forums as it will be a very small minority seeing this.

We saw it here, as in the early days of the system, we were using this forum to test custom styles for our members.

yes yes yes, it is lovely and all, but my style stred out sixty something kb over the quota, so I had to delte all craziness, and now I am confused as in how to set it as the style.

The template you selected has no themes attached to it. To create a new theme click the Create New link on the left hand panel

well, I edited a few graphics, and whatnot, but the error only appeared when I tried to export it, which I found out was due tot he fact that I had not created a style with the template(lowestexistance). Anyways, other than the fact that there should be another forum categoyr for editing, here is a picture of my first attempt.
