The owner named John is spamming constantly and brought his posts up over 10k!
Plus it's for a game that is copyrighted.

Spaming your own forum is not a crime as such.
It shows everyone that it is a badly run forum, by an admin that thinks number of posts mean more than the quality of posts.
As for the copyright bit ? , well you have to give morew details and any links for us to be able to investigate.
