You are making the classic mistake of posting something that is not worth joining.

Anyone can spend 5 minutes creating a forum and posting 4 topics.

As such you have done nothing that would convince someone to join such a forum with you in charge.

If I want a WoW forum, I think I'll spend 10 minutes creating and posting 8 topics, then you can join mine and I will be in charge!

No offence but all the area's you have posted in are the basic things apart from the link exchange which to be honest its far to early to be advertising your forum when there is no content for guests and potentual members to read.

If you want your forum to be liked and get good reviews as such then you need good content, something that guests will find interesting and might want to join just to post a reply. Most of the time new members post replies to your posts and very few new threads are started by a new member.

So my suggestion is start putting interesting content up and get a banner made, the content is the main thing to focus on though as a banner can wait for a few more day's. You'll need at least 50 articals before you should even think about advertising the forum, try to put content in each and every category and don't make more categories as it will make your forum look even more inactive.

Good luck and hopefully you'll get some content up soon.

Your forum looks good. Now all you need to do is get some members:

I've got a forum for motorsport and here's what I'm trying:

Going to print off some fliers to give out at events I attend

Going to contact local motorsport clubs that don't have their own forum

Placed an "advert" on youtube CARS AND MOTORSPORT ADVERT

We got a new user last night that had seen the advert on youtube

Good Luck
