If you look at the first and second link. They both go to different forums but they both have the same name. | ||||||

one has a "z" in it one has an "s" in it.

What I'm trying to say is... yes one has an s instead of a z, but the fact is, when I typed it in a seachbar, the empty forum was coming up instead of mine, especially on I.E. And its not my forum..it cant be. I never made a forum with an 's' on zappysnapperz. Someone is mimicking my forum. Is there any way to get rid of the empty one as people trying to access mine might end up there.
Can two forums be actually made with the same name on these freeforums? |

So all you are actually saying is that there is a forum with a similar name to yours that has got a better search engine listing than yours? What is more you seem to be saying that this happens when you search on the wrong name
I am still confused here. What one did you type into a search bar and what search engine was it. |

Its okay...I know whats going on now. Someone has tried to make a duplicate forum of zappysnapperz, but have put an 's' on the end, not sure whether thats because its not possible to have two forums with the same name on these freeforums? Anyway I know who done it and why. I cant belive someone by coincidence has made up the exact words of my forum... its only happened lately as well. Never mind...there's one born every minute. Anyway I'm happy to discover my forum comes up in a search now

chances are your searching with yahoo as it's the only search engine I've seen use predictive text, so it will use an s instead of a z in the name as the s is shall we say the correct way to spell it, even knowing you've intentionally spelt it with a z | ||||||

Please re-read what I said, it does make sense. predictive text will always input what it believes is the correct spelling and having a z isn't the correct spelling even if you've chosen to name your forum with a z |

Thanks, I do know what you mean, but it doesnt alter the fact there are two forums. Mine zappysnapperz, and the other zappysnappers, which someone has made.

If the other forum is not active it will be purged, but you hold no copyright on a different forum name. | ||||||
