Who Is Online section

http://chff.myfastforum.org/

Please indicate keywords you have searched on: whoisonline, who is online section, delete who is online section

I would like to know if it is possible to delete the who is online section, or at least make it so it is viewable by moderators only. I'd like to make it possible that the users of my forum not see what others are reading on it. Is that possible?

Thank u for your help!
myff admin

You can edit viewonline_body.tpl and remove the FORUM_LOCATION parts.
danm97

Wrap what you want to hide with this code...

Code:
<!-- IF S_USER_LEVEL > 0 -->
Only moderators and admins will see this.
<!-- ENDIF -->

You should find your whosonline codes in index_body.tpl

The codes you are looking for should look like this...

Spoiler:

Code:
{TPL_HDR1}<a class="gensmall11" href="{U_VIEWONLINE}">{L_WHO_IS_ONLINE}</a>{TPL_HDR2}<table width="100%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1" border="0" class="forumline">

offlin'online Button

http://yamahakeyboardkapers.myfreeforum.org/index.php

I've searched with the words - online button and offline button

Apologies in advance from this 'newbie' if I've missed this somewhere but I have performed a search. I have also looked in my Admin panel and can't find a section where this could be added.  I would like to add an 'online/offline button as you have here so that when posts are looked at the Viewer can see if the poster is in fact online or offline. Hope you can help with this Request.

myff admin

Look at the Portal setting in the admin panel.

Specifically the ONLINE portal.

I type ONLINE into the HOWTODOIT search and found that out very quickly!

Thank you

Thank you very much Admin. I did a search here and on the HOWTODOIT but nothing showed and I hate asking for help. My problem is the terminology of the Software. Think it's gradually dawning on me. Went over to the link and checked it out. Very clear instructions and have now managed to complete the task. Hope you like what I'm doing with the Site. I'm very pleased with the Stats in such a short time
