Whats your ISP?

I was sat here at my desk and i was wondering who has what ISP, i used to have wireless wanadoo but now i have tiscali Broadband running at 2MBPS but i have it running through a wireless network going to 3 computers and my laptop, so it slows it down to about 1MBPS when all computers are connected up.
i am quite happy with Tiscali but the connection is a little weird sometimes.

What ISP do you have and are you satisfied with it?

Didn't realise NTL did an 8mb package. I thought it was 2mb or 10mb.

We have the 10mb here. Which has until our recent problems been reliable. Hopefully it will start being so again now. We have been online for 30 hours straight now.

I think it varies depending on what area you live in...we used to be on 1mb (which apparently also is not an option for you).

Dunno, though I did want a seperate connection before and they wouldn't allow more than one per household so had to go down the router route

I have been quite tempted to get ADSL as a backup, but have resisted with the logic that we do have vodafone mobile connect already as the emergency connection.

I am thinking about buying a server or two for the game I play, so not sure if I'll have to get another connection or if just upping to 10mb will suffice...

The upstream on 10mb is 512kbs which aint remarkably good. For a game server the issues will be the potential for the upstream to saturate as well as ping times from the wider world.

AOL Broadband

Unlimited downloads is the only good thing about it
