No, I just wanted to get your guys' opinions...
Nick(NR)

meh, just as bad as postal 2 for violence, if the fcc are that concerned about violence in games, then bump it from 18 to 21 and force shops selling those games to check for id.

I mean supermarket get fined a ridiculous amount if they sell alcohol to underage people, so violence in games should have a similar structure.

I'm not to bothered personally these games are lame attempts at making the headlines to sell more, now crysis is a game worth busting one out over, the level of detail is astonishing!

manhunt 2 may be banned in England but that wont stop people getting it.

I've been playing games since the zx81 and im now 36. i've never had the urge to go out and shoot people after playing violent games or nick a car and go joy riding or whatever.

Never agree with this stupid argument.

Are they going to ban tom and jerry because little kids will smack each other with frying pans.

Ban all western films in case we nick some horses and ride into town to blow up the bank.

Just because one sad nutter kills after playing a game doesnt mean the rest of the people will follow, its a cop out thats all.

I think you can argue there is some small causality correlation between vast numbers of things and crime.

Porn, Violent TV, video nasties, alcohol, computer games...

Really you name it, and with the right individual or rather wrong individual you will see crimes committed that would not be committed if the individual had been bought up in a monastery!

This does not mean that everything that might possibly effect anyone should be banned.

once the 'do gooder' brigade get their teeth into something then mankind suffers.

i mean, 'that' 50 year old advert for going to work on an egg was going to make a comeback to celebrate 50 years of it, but the 'do gooders' decided it needed to be banned as it didnt promote a balanced diet. an egg is now bad for you....

in the end, we wont be able to do anything under this totalitarian 'body' which decides what is good/bad and what we can/cant do.

no wonder me and the wife are looking serious into emigrating to either new zealand or australia.

there comes a time when enough is enough
