TorrentsI don't mean to cause problems, but after visiting http://afunplacetobe.myfreeforum.org/index.php I saw a forum with "Recommended torrents".While I understand no torrents are directly hosted on the site, and that no copyrighted material is hosted on the site or directly linked to... Boogie does claim the topic was brought up and dropped (in the post your forum section), I saw one reference to the torrents being linked to - and no admin or mod response. Final decision please? |

This question has already been raised and discussed on these very boards, and as I'm not hosting any torrents, or any recorded or copyright material of any kind, only showing links to sites, then I am not in breach of any of the MyFF T&Cs. So what, you thought you'd join my site tonight and then try and cause trouble straight off the bat? Some strategy. I wasn't aware anyone had appointed you MyFF arbiter on these matters - oh that's right - they didn't! - you're just a general busy-body. Men should aspire to be something more than tell-tales once they reach a certain age mate - it's not becoming for them. |

Those posts do however break the T&C. piratebay is a warezs site, and you cannot promote warez on myff.

Well, Zudane, I guess you've shown others forum owners here what to expect from you when you join and pollute their sites? That must be the shortest membership of a forum you've ever enjoyed before getting canned. What was it? 10 mins in total as a member before being shown the door? You're missing the point - the 'harsh reality' is that it is not your job to go round 'policing' the internet'. All I've had to do is remove some threads from my forum - whereas you've shown others here what your day job is... |

Then all I can recommend is that instead of poking your nose into other's business and trying to police the entire Internet, whilst making a public fool of yourself in the process, that rather you concentrate on getting your 'school kids complaining about how much they hate homework' forum to... let's say... 'the next level' - and leave others well alone? They'll thrive without your input. No question that rules are there to be followed - it's just that you're not there, and it's not your job, to go round trying to enforce them. And in attempting to do so, you just look like a wee title-tattle seeking attention. Look to your own short-comings before having the crass temerity to think that you're in any position to address those of others. Give my regards to your barber! Chin-chin. |
