Remember the index page is just one page of your forum.

There is a line between optimising how a page works for members and how it works for bots.

Also seems though if you do the portal link check it some how gets the forum in portal view without the www. Ill let you see for yourself.

the css and icon links are kind of vital!

and www is only a redirect and not really an address.
