As of April 8th are clan forums have been guessed.

I was not the maker of the forum but was one of the admins are pw's where secure

If anyone know any ideas on how to recover the forum's pw and its old data please help!

Your forum was not hacked, someones password was compromised

The owner can reset their template via the owners control panel.

seems to me as someone has just disabled the forum via the admin panel so just go to

admin panel ---- general admin --- configuration then untick disable this board

There were 5 admins, the original admin was deleted. I have just reset all admins to user status to prevent further damage, but too late, the board has no forums

Only option is a $10 restore. Another case of too many admins, and too much risk

It was just showing up some abuse, as I assume the templates were wrecked, I reset it to subSilver, at which point it was unavailable. Saw the original admin was gone, and I demoted the remaining 5 made the board available again at which point the extent of the damage was clear.

Passwords to forums should be treated the same as pin numbers to credit cards ,, or any child can enter admin panel and ruin it,

You do not have to start again for a fee of $10 all can be restored.[/quote]

You change your password via the control panel

It is worth noting that the password for the forums email address should also be changed or they can just click forgot password link and regain again.

Change passwords to any admin account as soon as possible via the admin panel


as for forum restore follow the shop link then pay $10 use the note section for forum name etc

I am the original creator of this forum and the admin was changed to ~H}{RW~ MasterReacton a while back

I have logged into the board admin panel and checked on the option to recreate the admin user with a new password. However when i try to log in I get this.


The maximum number of 2 login attempts has been exceeded. You are not allowed to login for the next 3000 minutes.


I do have the correct user which is admin and a new password.

I have reset the lock time down to 3 minutes, who ever wrecked the settings must have set that to 3000 minutes to lock people out.

but no forums are there and no posts
There is one post that is the member list. If you could restore that one from the database we will cut our loses from there.

You are restored. But to subSilver, let me know if you need template files restored, as this need to be done separately.
Meanwhile stop other peoples admin access! change passwords again etc.
You need to see what happened here or it will happen again.

I have already set everyone to a user as well as the editor password changed.

Its ok Admin you have done enough. Any alt chr that was used came out of the database with a  infront of it which is typical of database string storage.

The template is fine. I will make the final adjustments later.
