Only me, yes i know your fed up with me already. But i have just one question. I find i am no longer able to delete unwanted styles or themes or templates. It just comes back with 'only copied styles can be deleted or edited'. Is there a way round this or am i stuck with them.

Sounds like a bug, though there may be a semantics issue here, between uninstall and delete, as ultimately you should not be able to really delete stuff from the system.

Yes i see what you mean. I should of said uninstall, i only used the word delete because that is the option given on the acp.

I will try and sort delete in the morning. It is still a tricky area in terms of coding.

previously if i wanted to make edits id just go into acp-styles - templates, click edit on the template which is blackbox-red  and it would bring up the next page where i could access the header & footer codes, now when i follow this process i get cant edit it only edit copied templates ??

so i go to copy the template and it copies but it doesnt take my logo with it, everything else is there just not my logo. ?

has there been some changes to how this is done now or is it a simple case of copy it and then add my logo again.

sorry if this isnt very detailed and with no screen shots just i didnt think it was important more of just an enquiry ?

You can now only edit the "copied template slots".

Hard to say with the logo without a working link to the issue.

i think i could just copy it and then add the logo in again after.  but id rather not mess around with it to much as i got just how i like it

So the link shows it working, we now need to see the copied version.

I am confused by this, as I have just tested again, uploading and image and making it the logo and then copying the style, and the new style does show the new logo.

Any tips as to what you may be doing differently would be useful.

all im doing is copying the template blackbox-red and when i go to preview the copy e.g pi.myfastforum.1 its all there except the red girls face logo witch is on the main page.

i dont know how to show you the copyed template version without actualy setting up on the forum which i dont want to do as this will disrupt things for my members,

could this have something to do with the fact that ive not tryed doing this with my editor ??

I strongly suspect that the issue here is that copying will copy a template and the image set named after the template.

If as is the case here you are using a template called blackbox with an image set of blackbox_red then the image set will not be copied.

At this stage I think I could do more damage than good by trying to change this.
