Stopped Smoking

Well I think I have finally kicked the habit, though it's early days yet.

One week, four days, 7 hours, 31 minutes and 41 seconds. 282 cigarettes not smoked, saving £70.71. Life saved: 23 hours, 30 minutes.

(PS if you comment here I wont be able to reply until Sunday night as I am in London until then, so don't think I am being rude)

Indeed.

Just a month ago I had to sit and watch helplessly as my mother died. Six weeks before she was fighting fit, working as a supervisor over a bunch of nutty women, playing practical jokes on the bosses (she complained the place was too hot, and tricked the boss into agreeing to buy everyone an ice cream 'if' an ice cream van came by...my mam phoned a friend of hers who has an ice cream van...cost the boss over £50).

I saw cancer rip through her body in just six weeks. The doctor said it was the most aggressive form of cancer he had ever seen. All caused by smoking.

If any of you guys are smokers, come on! Let's kick these things together!

Sorry to hear about your loss as well some people find giving up quite easy others find it hard, i gave up 8 months or so ago i used nothing just said right thats it, i found it quite easy much easier than i thought.

You must have been quite a heavy smoker. 25 a day?

If that's right then what a fantastic job you have done.

Keep it up mate.

Well the good news is you can. All you do is just not put one in your mouth, it's as easy as that.

btw cutting back don't work...it's stop or not stop.
Mikey

Then it's not stop for a while
