Anytime I'm trying to edit a image for a style say: myff.myfastforum1 it won't work for the forum images. This isn't for topic images etc, it's for like the 'Report post image' etc. Since the new update... I had to really "Remake" my whole entire forum. Anyway I edit the image and it says no image, so I scroll down and put the proper image for the thingy: example:

Image needed: Report Post

I scroll down and find the report post pic and use it for this link.

Push sumbit, check posts on my forum... No report button

You guys really need to change it back... Can't even use bbcode or anything the forums are a total mess and it might drive users away....

Change what back exactly, we haven't changed anything for or in phpbb3 since they released it, you had the option of a forum on phpbb 2 or 3.

You are getting ever closer to being sent away, because this is simply nonsense, you come here complaining that phpbb3 doesn't do this and that is broken and yet every thing you mentioned in these areas are knowns problems with phpbb3 as a whole so it's not only us with the problem, it's anyone running a phpbb3 forum.

If you are really having that hard a time with phpbb3, then go back to using phpbb2.

For me this is a last caution, as you've done nothing but accuse myff of being the ones behind bugs in phpbb3, when in all honesty, why would a forum host knowingly run something that will drive people away? answer is simple....... WE wouldn't, as we will continue to maintain not only a high standard of support for those who go the right way in receiving it, but an incredibly high uptime and load speed for members forums.

I'm talking about the system. Now that only 4 styles are here the WHOLE entire forum is changed... I had to copy what I had from the main style into example: myff.myfastforum.org1, and it messed up my whole forum... Then when I try to edit everything doesn't even work.

Other people are managing fine within the boundaries of phpbb3, a system which everyone knows is new and would be somewhat bleeding edge.

You made the choice, and now have to be prepared to work with it.

What I don't get is the "ford3" link?

That is not the proper link for a forum, it seems you are using the upgrade link rather than the proper link. The upgrade link should only be used for evaluation.

It just adds an extra layer of potential issues. You should set the forum type to phpbb3 in the control panel, and use the proper forum link.

There is now actually a clear bug when copying image sets, which I am working on.

Hello Admin,

When KodGex registered the forum for phpbb3 in the forum login panel all it has is the ford3 link only. No other url may be downloaded.

Since the style has also been copied as moderator has stated that no bbcodes do work on our forums. There are no reporting buttons, nor the delete post button at all. We've edited the forum at least 20 times, and over 10 people also worked with us by editing it. Still the same problem.

I have no idea what the last post means.

In the control panel, you get to set the forum type to phpbb3, at which point after propagation the ford3 link is not needed.

Moderator and I are working on the same computer, we're sure this doesn't bother you. Since moderator is eating his dinner I will be trying to solve this problem. If we can get the answer to our question, we're sure we don't need to post for help anymore.

Actually whilst there can be a bug with copying image sets, and I have seen it, a lot of further testing has not recreated it.

This is the problem with phpbb3, it is a much more complex system that is still in its early days.

Pushing this button will not allow us to use bbcode, the bbcode permssion is on etc.




There are no delete post buttons, nor reporting buttons we've already edited them five times.

No what bothers me , is since day one of moderator appearing on here, shouting legal rubbish about moderators icons, is that he has done nothing but try to cause hassle, never listens to advice, is quite rude with repiles.

I placed him on modded posts the other day for his attitude, and already he is having temper tantrums over things.

Post with manners or topics will be locked, and i,m sure that would bother you.

If you wish for us to explain the problems again we'll be glad to, if you're not understanding this kind of issue. As admin said there was a "Bug", but I don't really know if it's a bug. Since you've stated you placed a cleaning cache option on the forums we've done that, and still nothing.

Then you are not reading the thread, you are talking about a problem with imagesets I am talking about there being bugs there, and looking into them.

Being given aggravation when trying to help does not encourage effort at 11pm. This can now wait till the morning.
