Scrolling portalsyes, thats right, it took me 4 and a half straight hours of coding, 6 bawls mints, 1 dr. pepper, 2 small dark chocolates, and my girlfriend distracting me to edit the ultimate portal scrolling system. whew.
it is not yet up on http://portaltester.myfreeforum.org because Aaron, smokey and I have to discuss it's potential greatness. soon, SOON after that, i will write a tutorial on how to do it yourself. for now im going to sleep because if i dont get some soon im goinsndfzzzzzzzzzzZZzzZZzzZZ.......

It is setup on the default template. It includes a button to make the portal scroll with you (As you go down the page) or stay there!

You do know you need to put a restricter on there, so that it stops scrolling when the page ends otherwise you can scroll down forever.

There already is!

Apparently it doesn't work then, because the portal scrolls on forever.

on looking at many different websites for the DOM object document, i finally found what i was looking for and set a limiter on the amount that the portals can scroll, limiting the scrolling of the page to a non-infinity number.
in smaller word, i set the limiter. the page works.
unfortunately the limiter does not govern IE yet, thus the reason that the browser checking button reveals that the page may be displayed incorrectly. i might just set it to not scroll at all if the browser is IE
