Rive Caedo- It's rather time consuming and a bit technical, First you need to make a copy of the disc's files using something like DVDShrink. Then you can convert those files using Videora.

It's also worth noting that the use of DVDShrink and similar software's legality is.....questionable. Even if you own the discs you're copying and the computer you're copying them to (which seems a bit silly, but what are you gonna do.)

Rive Caedo- After buying Super Star WArs I suggest downloading a quasi-legal simulated version.

It's an INCREDIBLY difficult game. It's difficult in its own right-and there's no password or saving system (Super Empire and Jedi have password systems and are a bit easier anyway.)

A few points.
A. Is this not encouraging criminal behavior by an administrator?  In the first posting telling them how to do it.  Here in the United States there is also a second offense. It is called contributing to the delinquency of a minor?

B. Also though it is not as drastic, is not encouraging others to commit crime, which could cause someone to be sent to prison if caught a form of self harm?

I would also add that I believe lindajean777 had made her first complaint around the tenth of March, and your organization supported Rebels. Interesting way to say thank you to you Mr. Walker. Encouraging criminal activity on a site hosted by you. The gratitude is astounding.

As said in the other thread, copyright infringement is to be handled by the copyright owner.   There are MANY times that copyright is TECHNICALLY infringed, but nothing is done about it.

If you want to get into the technicalities then any fan site that sports the icons, logo, or name of a copyrighted game is violating copyright, but in no significant way to raise a lawsuit over.

As well, something that is "quasi-legal" or the legality is "questionable" is not directly illegal, per say, so you cannot say it is breaking the law or rules without allowing a court to decide.

Someone getting arrested is not self-harm, it's stupidity, which I am sure you know plenty about.  If someone harms themself, such as hitting, cutting, shooting, burning, or damaging their own body, then it is self-harm, and thus self-hate.

By the way - using a whois is by no means making you an expert.  ANYBODY can find that information, it is extremely simple, especially since dns.myff.org (a site part of myfreeforum) gives you the means to look it up.

And again, as said by the Admin - A personal vendetta does not mean rules or laws are being broken.  You can nit-pick all you want to show something is "technically" against the rules, but without SOLID proof, nothing can be done.  Anything that falls on the line of possibly against rules/possibly allowed is for the admin to decide.

Quite a classic post really, an officious tone, use of a name and details taken from whois and a verbose post and somehow we are not meant to see just how thin the complaints contained are.

You will see DVD rippers discussed everywhere, copyright is for the holder to enforce, and whilst it has now been removed anyway, the odd "vulgar" post does not a porn site make.

There is something quite seriously disturbed about this level of vendetta arising from a forum ban, someone without much of a real life I would suspect, and quite a few sock puppets on the field!

This is to inform you that the first copyright violation has been sent into the franchise which owns it. That franchise is the Star Trek franchise.

A great deal of the time the 'technicality' basis quoted here by MyFreeForum staff is the result of the franchise/party not knowing that their copyrighted material has been infringed upon. Whether they would or would not take action is an unknown. After the parties have been informed then the choice is theirs. It is clearly not possible to take action on something you don't know is occuring. That has now begun to change. The franchises/companies of all cases of infringement by Rebels will be informed.
