hi have my own karaoke forum with my fine forums and wanted to know how to add ranks for my members say like flashing lights for Admin Mods stars  etc  is this possible and how to include this in my forum Dave

If you are stuck on a certian part then tell us how far you have got and what you are stuck on ..

Ranks are quite easy when you have done one.

i,ll try and explain here


1 goto admin panel --2. General -- ranks

In there you will see one rank has already been set up this is the site admin.

to add a new rank click on add new rank

This example i,ll make a moderator rank

now call it what you want like

moderator

set it as a special rank if it is for admin, or a mod. (Setting as special rank means that they will always have this rank no matter how many post they make).


Leave posts blank as it is a special rank

Now add the image path to the rank you want

now click save

you must do the same as above for each new rank you want

Once you have done that goto  admin panel -- 4. Users -- userlist

Now find the person you want to have the moderator rank and click on edit.

Look at the very bottom for

 Rank Title

now use the drop bar to pick their rank.
