Is there a possible hack where we can put our rank image next to our username?

If you had only taken 5 of those mins to search HOWTODOIT you would have found the answer.

Anyway the HOWTODOIT search bar gives you to many random topics. What should I place in the search bar? For example: "Rank images"?

Also since you're a moderator to save me time, since I can't find it in the HOWTODOIT is there a possible hack, yes or no?

Ya lmao theres a bunch of pictures you can add for ranks, I have the picture, just wondering if I can put it next to my name, like the screenshot above shows.

Oh and no one knows what you mean by "next to your name" as you have not made it clear at all.

Chances are this is a simple template edit involved some knowledge of html and if you want to make that sort of edit, then you actually have to learn html.

Please take a look at the screenshot above. It shows a username, and then the image rank right next to it. I'm wondering if you can do that with the phpbb3, myff forum as well.

I also don't think it has anything with the template editing. I've ran the forum for over 1 year now, and I don't see anything about html ranks or anything.

Do you mean next to your name in a post thread? A profile page? Where exactly. Either way it is a template edit and needs you to know html.

Knowing the game he's referencing, I understand what he means.... he wants rank images to the left of the name... such as..

*Username
&Another_username
%Yet_another_username

And I do believe the admin has it correct, that it would be a template edit to do that. Which means that you'd have to go into the template, and edit the coding to move the rank image to the left of the username, as compared to underneath it as it usually shows.

Hopefully this explains better for all involved.

Edit: And I am pretty sure he means for all instances... though at least in a post.

It would depend on the template. viewtopic_body.tpl is where to look, and with a knowledge of basic html it will not be hard.

At that level of question you would struggle to understand the answers. If you learn some html you will progress much faster.
