prized possesions?

I don't attach a lot of value to possessions, I have a couple of trivial family heirlooms that have little monetary value that matter to me, but not a lot else possession wise that matters much, but for my birthday this year I got a real treasure a boxwood/silver hand crafted cup of Anglo Saxon design. It is a beautiful object that really appeals to my nature as it will be in daily use.
If the house was to burn down aside from the wife and kids   it would be one of the half dozen things I'd want to save.

So what do other people value?

Pictures (which now can be safely backed up), And things given to me by my grandparents and parents.

Mine at a quick thought would have to be my beer glass collection, as you can see i have many, from all around the world, Some are very rare. One glass is a special limited edition and last price was quoted at over £1000

And also my Lord Of The Rings Chess set, each piece hand made total cost to buy was over £400

That box sounds beautiful and like a treasure.

Symon, I have an uncle that collect mugs like that. LOTR!!!!! NICE!!! Love that Symon.

And yes, of course pictures.

Beside our animals and the kiddos, I think that pictures and things given to me by ppl that are special to me are things that I'd definitely try to save.

I have to admit it, my prized possesion would have to be my computer, its about the only thing that I couldn't imagine living without (with the usual exceptions such as food, water, air, family and my girlfriend)

Also symon, wow, over £1000 for 1 glass, whats ur address, and when will the next time you're not in be?

just kidding.

I know the film was pretty good, but how many copies do you have then?

Going to have to agree.

In doing so I feel I may have given away my geeky side, might be time to admit that the most valuable (money wise) thing I own is probably my Warcraft account.

Oh well, I'll hopefully be starting my first proper job some time soon now that University's finally over and get around to buying some proper stuff.

My Wrestling video/dvd collection 132 strong
