Portal Positioning

I have researched and researched and still not found the answer to this question. If someone could help me that would be greatly appreciated.

admin (no pm's please)

I think Nick may have been working a bit on these lines, and off hand I'd say it would be quite easy to do by adding another column to the table structure of the two column layout, with the new right hand column being added in overall_footer.tpl

But the fact is that this needs to be proven by someone who has a level of html confidence and competance.

Final point is that there is every likelyhood such a layout would be cramped as hell anyway and not a good idea.

That was my idea for dual portals. You would have to add the right hand portal in the index_body and really its difficult to place it just right. It varies a lot between template. Also it doesnt cramp you jsut have to scroll all the way to the right to view it. There is a thread called "Dual Portals" where i have the code. thread link http://forum.myfreeforum.org/ftopic5219.php though my forum doesnt have it anymore.
