phpbb3 conversion - slarti3 domain

Hey,

changed my forum to phpbb3 last night, and got given the domain:

http://dontbebored.slarti3.myfreeforum.org

I went onto http://myfreeforum.org and went to 'Forum Login', and I then clicked phpbb3/phpbb2 at the top.

On the drop down box: "Make Forum Link:" I changed it from phpbb2 to phpbb3.

Is this the right thing to do?

Do you know how long I need to wait, so I can use the http://dontbebored.myfreeforum.org domain again? Instead of the slarti3 domain?

Have I done the right thing, for it to change over to my normal domain, or do I need to do something else so I can use my original domain again?

Please let me know, as I dont want to waste ages of time, if I still need to do something which I havn't done yet! - I hope you understand what I mean, hopefully you can help and advise me of what I need to do, or if I've done it right, and how long it takes to change over?

Cheers

Ben

PS: I do know that it says 'This board is currently unavailable' this is because I temporarily disabled the board on my phpbb2 version, so that people werent making posts when I am working on the phpbb3 version.
admin (no pm's please)

I really can't understand why people ask this question?

The text in the box says:

Quote:

Changing the link will change your forum type. A change may take up to 48 hours for the link to propagate. Forcing the link will ensure people instantly get to the right forum, but will stop you accessing the old forum via any link.

and there is no more to be said.

Oh right.

Do I need to tick the box 'Add Force' then?

I did read that, but wasn't sure if there was anything else I needed to do
