phpBB2, phpBB3 or vBulletinIn your personal opinion, which do you prefer? I didnt include IPB or any other one, as these are the only ones i have used myself. You can post which ones you like most if you want too.
At the moment im trying to decide which one to use for a website/forum im making. Im tempted to go with VB cos i like the look of it, phpBB3 is a 'stable' release, but there are still bugs, and phpBB2 looks very dated.

I have used the lot, and am firmly of the option that a forum is about the core functions of posting discussions, and both vbulletin and phpbb3 have rather lost the plot on this.

I think Vbelletin is better for 'huge' forums with many forums and such E.G Ubuntu Support Forum. PhpBB3 if you like big numbers.
