As a test one of the core email functions on the forum has been changed.

The change is to make the email "From" header donotreply[at]myfree/fast/etc/forum.org.

This may help stop the emails getting blocked by some anti-spam systems.

Any ideas on if this change is permanent ?
as used the mass email today on site http://colchestermodelcarclub.myfastforum.org/ which is linked to a email address @colchestermodelcarclub.com and now instead of arriving in inboxes it arrives in bulk/junk mail and members are treating it as that (junk )

Well suffice it to say this is the feedback we are after, it it helping with "junk" issue or making matters worse? I guess you are one vote for worse!

my e~mail address keeps bouncing & i have to rest it in my profile every couple of days or so
why does this happen & is there anything that can be done to prevent it ?

I reported the same Problem  A few days ago - I think Admin's working on it.

Mine is also arriving in junk box - well it was, but I told Outlook that it wasn't junk... that bit is easily fixed.

I must be a bit of a geek though because I'm a member of several myff forums now and I've set up separate folders for the email notifications so that I can see instantly which forum the email is from.... I don't appear to be able to do that now as they all come from the same donotreply addy?

I guess I'm another vote for 'worse'  :-)
