Well I've kind of got into the idea of link exchanges.
I've taken the liberty of adding a link to shutterbugs as I know some of my members like to take motorsport pictures. I won't be offended if you don't want to link to my forum as it's a bit niche and may not be relevant to your site. Let me know if you don't want me to link to your page. I needed a link to see how my Link Exchange would work

I made a basic web page in: Administration Panel/ 6. Web Pages/Edit Web Pages Clicked on the Web Page icon at the top and saved it [I named mine exchange.html] with a portal template applied and no web template. I then used http://howtodoit.myfreeforum.org/...component=content&topicid=714 to help me create the link on my forum index page. A bit of experimenting and got it in the place I wanted it
I always log-in as editor and use a copy of the main template to try this sort of stuff out before applying it to the main template. I force all my users to use template1 The editor uses template2 to play with I always keep a safe copy of template1 as template3. Hope this makes sense
